Leadership

“Leadership”

I want to write about the difference in leadership between U.S.A. and Japan. The other day, I read the short book related with American history. I was impressed, finding that the writer described as if each historical period matched with each president at that time. Recently, in japan, the position of prime minister has changed within a year so frequently that we could not figure out why they step down from the position. It was partly, due to an unstable political system. I guess, it underlies the Japanese traditional role of leader, who is responsible for negotiations among opponents. Compared with the Japanese leader, American one has some power to make an important decision by himself. American give a huge power on the leader through an active election. Japanese politicians have started to imitate the American leader, who can decide something important. On the contrary, it seems that the American president now is getting busy negotiating among stakeholders in the world.
