Children’s Development

“Children’s Development”

I read an article about the effects of early poverty on children's development. The critical period is the fundamental thought about neurodevelopment. Although there has been a debate about when the critical period starts, most researchers agree that there is a critical period when child's neurodevelopment is entirely formed. Given the importance of critical period, we can assume that the poverty levels during childhood are so important for whole of our lives. At least in part, those theories explained one of the reasons why poverty transmits from generation to generation. Thus, the early governmental supports are necessary for children who are born in low-income families.
